About Us
What We Offer
Our house features a spacious half acre yard that is fully fenced in. We also use a doggy door to allow the dogs to freely go in and out as they please. We recently bought a doggy pool to help the pups cool off in the hot sun! In the evening we typically take our dogs to the Rib Mountain dog park. If your pup has experience going to dog parks we can certainly bring your dog along if you would like. You will get plenty of pictures and updates of your pup under our care. Please let us know the frequency of pictures/updates you would like and we will be happy to show you how your pup is doing. If the weather is nice, I will try to get outside and take some pictures with an actual camera for you to enjoy. Our goal is to provide quality care and take care of your pup just as much as we do our own. We love helping people and having them know their pup is being well cared for when you can't be with them.
A Typical Day
Being at home all day and having a spacious yard, we love to take breaks to play outside. Whether that be fetch or just relaxing outside. We just got a doggy pool that our golden retriever can't get enough of. We have a doggy door, so typically our dogs and the ones we watch love to go outside to lay in the sun. In the evening we like to go burn out some pup energy. We live near Bluegill Bay Park and always enjoy a nice walk along Lake Wausau. Once the sun sets, we have an endless supply of dog beds for your dog to snooze away the rest of the day.
Our Experience
Together we both have extensive experience with dogs of all ages and types. We have experience raising puppies, including those being raised to be future service dogs. Additionally, we have experience working with special needs dogs that are blind or require daily insulin treatment. We currently have two dogs, a 4-year-old black lab and a 2-year-old golden retriever. Both are highly socialized and get along well with dogs of all sizes/personalities. Ochai is well-known at the Rib Mountain dog park as being one of the sweetest dogs to people and dogs alike.

Ochai is our two-year-old Golden Retriever. She is well-known at the Rib Mountain Dog park wanting to be friends with every dog and get lots of love from every visitor. She is the stereotypical golden with a little extra love on the side. We like to call her the 'entertainer' when we have a guest pup. If your pup is young and full of energy it is guaranteed to have a blast with Ochai.

Bailee is our four-year-old black lab. Her anxiety made her a service dog drop-out, but it has all worked out for her. Now she can beg for all the french fries her lab-heart desires. She is most well-known for stealing the beds guest pups bring with them and testing them out for herself.

Charlie is our cat we adopted in the late summer of 2023. We aren't sure how old he is, but we suspect he isn't more than two-years-old. The once stray cat now lives his lavish life among dogs. He gets along with our guest pups really well and doesn't seem to mind them no matter the size. Sometimes we really just refer to him as a dog stuck in a cats body, he is quite the character.
